Important Information about Activating a Security Device

Do you currently use one username to access one business?
If yes, simply follow the instructions to activate your security device in the migration letter. You will now be able to access your accounts from any Internet PC, be it work or home.

Do you currently access the same business with different usernames?
(i.e. Do you use different usernames when at home and work to access the same business?)

If so, we will only be sending you one Security Device to access your business. You can choose which username you keep and use that going forward. Once you have activated your Security Device as specified in the migration letter, you will be able to use the same username and password to access your business from any Internet enabled PC.

Do you access multiple businesses from the same username?
(i.e. Do you own more than one business or have secondary user privileges for a number of different businesses?)

When you logon and activate your Security Device as advised in the migration letter, all of your BIB accounts will be linked to the Security Device at the same time.

Do you access multiple businesses from different usernames?
(i.e. Do you use different usernames to access a number of different businesses?)

In this situation, you will receive a separate Security device for each unique username.

For ease of use, we recommend that you link all of your businesses to one username and so activate one Security Device, as described in the migration letter.

Note: You will not be able to link a business to more than one Security Device.

However, if you still wish to access different businesses using different usernames simply link the different Security Devices to whichever username/business you find most convenient. If you choose to link a number of Security Devices to different businesses please remember that it is important that you can identify which Security Device relates to which business.
